Ieri sera primo Dicembre a Los Angeles si è tenuta la 53esima edizione dei Grammy Nominations Concert Live, sono state rese note le nomination dei prossimi Grammy Awards 2011, le cui premiazioni sono in programma domenica 13 febbraio 2011 allo Staples Center di Los Angeles.
Eminem si è aggiudicato ben 10 candidature. Le categorie che lo vedono gareggiare con altri nomi illustri della musica internazionale come Lady Gaga, Jay-Z o Katy Perry, sono, per citarne solo alcune: album dell’anno (con il suo ultimo lavoro “Recovery“, che ha siglato il definitivo ritorno del rapper americano dopo un periodo difficile fra problemi di salute e droga), record dell’anno e canzone dell’anno (con il suo duetto con Rihanna “Love the way you lie”).
Subito dopo Eminem, troviamo Bruno Mars, con 7 nomination. Per Lady Gaga, due delle nomination miglior performance vocale femminile, per questa nomination la cantante si scontra con Beyoncé, Norah Jones, Katy Perry e Sara Bareilles, e miglior album “The Fame Monster“, dove gareggia contro Eminem.
