“The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies)“, l’ultimo album in studio dei Black Eyed Peas, continua a riscuotere successo e consensi, dopo “I Gotta Feeling” arriva il terzo singolo estratto dal disco. Si tratta di “Meet me Halfway“, brano che era già stato rilasciato, insieme a “Imma Be” and “Alive“, come singolo promozionale in quanto parte di “Countdown to The E.N.D.“. Black Eyed Peas - Artwork di Meet Me Halfway Il video musicale, confermato da tempo da Will.I.Am, dopo l’idea iniziale di lasciarlo alla direzione di Mathew Cullen e Mark Kudsi (già registi di “Boom Boom Pow“), è diretto da Ben Mor, regista che ha già realizzato con i Black Eyed Peas il video del brano “I Gotta Feeling“. Will.I.Am, che ha detto che il video di “Meet me Halfway” è molto artistico, contrariamente allo stile futuristico di “Boom Boom Pow” e a quello festoso di “I Gotta Feeling”, ha inoltre annunciato che del video sarà rilasciata una seconda versione, a questa ufficiale se ne affiancherà una molto personale indirizzata ai fan. Il video apre su una strada nel deserto e passa per il cielo cosmico nel quale ognuno dei quattro membri dei Black Eyed Peas canta in una diversa location: Fergie è in una verde e lussureggiante foresta, apl.de.ap levita su un pianeta deserto vestito da nomade, will.i.am cavalca un elefante su una luna di giove e Taboo scivola attorno al sole in una tuta spaziale. Poi apl.de.ap porta una mappa mentre will.i.am usa un compasso per cercare il percorso degli altri membri del gruppo. Infine i membri si ritrovano, dopo aver attraversato dei portali, sulla strada nel deserto che si si vedeva all’inizio.
