E’ un momento di gran fermento quello per Damon Albarn e i suoi Blur, dopo la reunion annunciata ufficialmente dal vice presidente di Live Nation UK, Steve Homer, che sarà seguita da due loro esibizioni dal vivo il 2 e il 3 Luglio 2009 a Londra.
Sembra che oltre a queste date se ne possano aggiungere altre, infatti Damon Albarn e soci sembrano convinti a tenere dei concerti anche nel resto d’Europa e negli Stati Uniti.
Il chitarrista Graham Coxon, rientrato in band dopo l’abbandono avvenuto nel 2002, in un’ intervista su Radio4 della BBC ha dichiarato che la band potrebbe presto lavorare a del nuovo materiale.
Intanto per celebrare la reunion i Blur hanno preparato una compilation che sarà messa in vendita a metà Giugno.
